2015 Reading Challenge: Synthetic Dreams

Managed to get one of the books out of the way for Insomnia Book Club's 2015 Reading Challenge. I decided to go with the "A book that you chose just because of a nice cover". There were a few of those but decided on Synthetic Dreams by Kim Knox. I've been wanting to read it for a long time but never did until now, so now I just want to hit myself for never reading this book sooner. The characters were enjoyable, even the villain! It was nice to see both love interests actually working together too. The world was on the unique side with its technology. Another plus? The book length was short! Which was nice since I was trying so hard not to fall asleep while reading in bed. It was too hard to put Synthetic Dreams down. It's a stand alone book as well. While I would of loved for it to be a series because of how enjoyable the story was it's possible that it could of been dragged into the ground, so ending the book on a good note while it's still something that you can be happy with is much better. I highly recommend Synthetic Dreams to anyone that's a fan of paranormal romance or sci-fi romance books. The sci-fi bit isn't alien related, etc. It's sci-fi on the technology side of things.

My book picks:

A book that was made into a movie - Jaws by Peter Benchley
