2015 Reading Challenge: Azagoth

With another week left until the seasonal book challenge with another group I decided to go ahead and try to get one more of the short books done for Insomnia Book Club's 2015 Reading Challenge. For "A book with only one word in the title" I read Azagoth by Larissa Ione. It was only 200 pages but I enjoyed it so much that I wish it would of been longer! It was really great to revisit characters from Demonica and Lords of Deliverance. Azagoth was such a good read that I ended up finishing the entire thing in just one night! It reminded me of a novella length book with the characters Hades and Persephone. Ironically there is a Hades character in Larissa Ione's series but he has a blue mohawk. Azagoth is a Grim Reaper who becomes mated with one of the angel types in the series, her name being Lilliana. She was the perfect match for him and I couldn't have picked a better person to be the heroine of this novella. Larissa Ione creates such amazing demon and angel characters. She is such an incredible author.

My book picks:

A book published this year - The Ruby Circle by Richelle Mead
A book that's at least 500 pages long - Allegiant by Veronica Roth
A book with only one word in the title - Azagoth by Larissa Ione
The first book ever written by your favorite author - Tall, Dark & Lonely by R.L. Mathewson
A book that was made into a movie - Jaws by Peter Benchley
Re-read one of your favorite books - undertow by Cherry Adair
A book that almost everyone but you have read - Moon Called by Patricia Briggs
A book that is set in your state or city (or country for those outside of the U.S.A) - This Side of the Grave by Jeaniene Frost
A book that you own and still have yet to read - Bitten by Kelley Armstrong
A book with a color in the title - Blue Skies by Catherine Anderson
A book that came out the year that you were born - Gentle Warrior by Julie Garwood
A book that you chose just because of a nice cover - Synthetic Dreams by Kim Knox

Books read so far: 3 out of 12

Since you want to read a book you have on your shelf and didn't start yet, why not try Cruel Beauty? it's a nice one, without a cliffhanger but since I'm an epilogue lover I hated that it didn't contain an epilogue but overall it's worth it ^^

That's a good idea! I was trying to finish up a shark shifter series but decided to take a little break from it last night, so maybe I could switch back and forth between the last shark shifter book and cruel beauty ^.^. Haha, same here, the epilogues always seem to finalize things and give some extra reading if you really enjoy whatever book.
